The Foundations seek the following overarching outcomes as a result of grantmaking investments in osteopathic medical education: - Providing for an appropriate number of quality osteopathic physicians to serve, with other health profession disciplines, the health needs of the central and southeastern Ohio communities.
- Improving the quality of osteopathic pre-doctoral and post-graduate medical education programming.
- Expanding the availability of quality post-graduate training and continuing medical education opportunities for osteopathic physicians.
- Advocating efforts that result in additional support and leveraged resources for osteopathic medical education.
- Enhancing and expanding collaborative osteopathic medical education programming opportunities among academic institutions.
- Enhancing the research culture at osteopathic sponsored educational institutions.
